Prognosis of emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation and its influencing factors
Objective:To assess the factors impacting outcomes of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)after cardiac arrest(CA)in department of emergency
in order to improve the success rate. Methods:Retrospective analysis on CPR cases belongs to the emergency department of Quanzhou First Hospital from December 2010 to February 2014 was conducted. The relevant factors of CPR were analyzed with univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results:There were 75 cases(25.2%)of restoration of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)
41 cases(13.8%)of 24-hour survival
19 cases(6.4%)of survival at discharge
9 cases(3%)of survival without neurological deficit at discharge. The corresponding subgroup comparison showed that factors of CPR start time less than 5 minutes
CPR duration ≤10 min
total adrenaline dose ≤5 mg
ROSC
defibrillation rhythm
24-hour survival
survival at hospital discharge
survival without neurological deficit at discharge correlated with high survival at discharge(P<0.05). Factors of nosocomial cardiopulmonary arrest group
ROSC
24-hour survival correlated with high survival at discharge(P<0.05). Factors of cardiogenic
medical personnel witness
ROSC correlated with 24-hour survival(P<0.05). Factors of non-organ dysfunction
daytime rescue had relatively high ROSC rate(P<0.05). Conclusion:The factors affect the prognosis of PCR of emergency cardiopulmonary patients are starting time and continuous time
defibrillation heart rate and age. The mid-term defibrillation rhythm of the heart is favorable factors affecting neural functional prognosis.
