Apelin-13 autophagy affects the brain cortex cells of the rabbit brain trauma
Objective:To investigate Apelin-13 on traumatic brain injury in rabbits cerebral cortical cells autophagy. Methods:A total of 30 healthy male rabbits were selected and divided into non trauma group
trauma +Apelin-13 group
trauma + physiological saline group
with 10 rats in each group rabbits
according to the random number table method. Rat cerebral cortex autophagy related protein expression and loss of cerebral volume ratio was compared among three groups. Results:The levels of Beclin-1 and Lc3 in traumatic+ Apelin-13 group were significantly higher than those in non-traumatic group
and the levels of bcl-2 and p62 were significantly lower than those in non-traumatic group. P-m TOR in traumatic + Apelin-13 group was significantly higher than that in non-traumatic group(P<0.05). Lc3-Ⅱ/Lc3-Ⅰwere(0.19 ± 0.05)
(0.23±0.07)
(0.36±0.08)
and Beclin-1/bcl-2 were(0.43±0.09)
(0.78±0.12)
(1.61±0.35)
respectively in non trauma group
traumatic + Apelin-13 group and trauma + physiological saline group. The ratios of trauma were 0%
(15.31±3.21)% and(26.74±4.85)% in non trauma group
traumatic + Apelin-13 group and trauma +physiological saline group;the ratio in traumatic + Apelin-13 group was significantly higher than that in non trauma group
but lower in trauma + physiological saline group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Apelin-13 can inhibit the cerebral cortex after traumatic brain injury in rabbits autophagy
mainly by adjusting the Beclin-1
p-m TO and other autophagy-related protein levels.
