Efficacy and safety of percutaneous reduction by bone hook combined with proximal femoral nail anti-rotation internal fixation for femoral intertrochanteric fracture
To explore the efficacy and safety of percutaneous reduction by bone hook combined with proximal femoral nail anti-rotation fixation(PFNA) internal fixation in the treatment of patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture.
Methods
2
A total of 212 patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture who underwent surgical treatment in the our hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were prospectively selected as the study object, and they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 106 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with PFNA internal fixation, and the patients in the observation group was treated with percutaneous reduction by bone hook technique on the basis of the control group. The indexes related to operation and rehabilitation between the two groups were compared, and the differences of Harris hip function scale (Harris) score and Barthel index before operation and 1 month,2 months after operation of the two groups were compared. The occurrence of complications in the two groups was observed.
Results
2
The surgery time in the observation group was significantly longer than that in the control group, and the postoperative hospitalization, time to start weight bearing and fracture healing time were all shorter than those in the control group(
P
<
0.05).The results of repeated measurement of variance showed that there were statistically significant differences in Harris score between the two groups at different time points in terms of the intersubjective effect based on time factor and group, and the intra-subjective effect based on the interaction between the time and the group(
P
<
0.05).The Harris score 1 month and 2 months after operation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(
P
<
0.05).The results of repeated measurement of variance showed that the differences of Barthel index score at different time points between the two groups were statistically significant in terms of the intersubjective effect based on time factor and group, and the intra-subjective effect based on the interaction between the time and the group(
P
<
0.05).The Barthel index score 1 month and 2 months after operation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(
P
<
0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(
P
<
0.05).
Conclusion
2
Percutaneous reduction by bone hook combined with PFNA internal fixation is effective for the patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture, which can effectively promote the rehabilitation of patients, improve the function and dysfunction of hip joint, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
