[Abstract] Objective? To evaluate the application of the flipped classroom model based on micro-course in teaching “Animal surgery” and comparing with traditional teaching mode. To Provide new ideas for the teaching of animal surgery. Method In the teaching of debridement
120 Navy Military Medical University undergraduates were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.
flipped classroom mode and traditional teaching mode were respectively used. After the end of the teaching
the survey of learning effect evaluation questionnaire and the knowledge assessment of debridement were compared and analyzed. Result In the experimental group
there were 4 positive evaluations in the 5 learning effect evaluations
which were higher than those in the control group
and the average scores of the 12 examinations were also higher than those in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion the flipped classroom model based on micro-course can improve the teaching effect of debridement in animal surgery and increase the students' self-learning ability.
