Readjusting and improving the related discipline of vascology is the requirement for the modern social development and development of discipline. The grim reality of the increasing inci-dence of vascular diseases in China， the separate discipline setting of cardiovascular， cerebrovascular and peripheral vascular disease and the hysteresis of high-quality personnel training system related to vascology， encouraged us to establish vascology as subordinate discipline urgently. Through the devel-opment of the organizational discipline， Shanghai Clinical Center of Vascular Systemic Disease provid-ed the feasibility of academic environment and talent cultivation conditions for establishing vascology as subordinate subjects.
