Two cases of brain tumor and intracranial aneurysm coexisting in the same patient are reported. In case l
a huge meningioma located along the left sphenoid ridge was found coexisting with an arterial aneurysm at the junction of the left carotid and left opthalmic artery. Both conditions were successfully treated by total removed of the tumor
followed by wrapping of the aneurysm with muscle at the same operation. The other case was a head injury patient in which the coexistence of a right sphenoid ridge meningioma and an aneurysm of the intracavernous portion ofthe right internal carotid artery was found unexpectedly in carotid angiography and exploratory craniotomy. In this case
the meningioma was removed radically
but the aneurysm was found inaccessible. The coexistence of two unrelated intracranial lesions is rare. According to documented statistics the brain tumor coexisting with intracranial arterialaneurysm was about 0
3-0.7%. The operative mortality reported in the literature was 40%. Oar patients have been followed-up for at least sixteen months and the result so far is excellent. Literatures with reference to the etiology
