Objective:To investigate the expression of signaling adaptor protein Crk in cervix cancer

cervical intraepithelial neoplasias(CINs) and normal cervix

and evaluate their relationship with the invasive and metastatic capacity of cervical carcinoma. Methods:Expression of Crk protein was detected by immunostaining in 20 cases of normal cervix

27 cases of CINs and 50 cases of cervix cancer. Result:Immunostaining revealed that Crk protein was expressed in 68% of cervix cancer

40.7% of CINs and 10% of normal cervix. Conclusion:Over-expression of Crk may play an important role in the development of CINs and cervix cancer. Crk could be used a malignant biomarker of cervix cancer.
