Early minimally invasive treatment for tibial plateau fracture combined with medial collateral ligament injury of the knee
Objective To explore the effect of minimally invasive surgery on patients with fracture of tibial plateau fracture combined with medial collateral ligament injury of the knee. Methods A total of 35 patients of Schatzker type Ⅱ tibial plateau fractures with medial collateral ligament Ⅱ degree or Ⅲ degree injury were treated with MIPPO technique to reduct and fix the tibial plateau fractures. The anchor was used to repair the injury of medial collateral ligament. Results All patients were followed up and all incisions were healed. All fractures were healed. The healing time was 12 to 20 weeks
with average time of 16 weeks.Lysholm standard evaluation showed excellent in 20 cases, good in 10 cases, fair in 3 cases, poor in 2 cases, and the excellent and good rate was 85.7%.Conclusion The effect of minimally invasive surgery for the fracture of the lateral condyle of the tibial plateau fracture with medial collateral ligament injury of the knee was obvious
with good prognosis.
