Effect of refine d care intervention on psychological status and cooperation of patients undergoing digestive endoscopy
Objective To investigate the effect of refined care intervention on the psychological status and cooperation of patients undergoing digestive endoscopy. Methods A total of 142 patients who underwent digestive endoscopy in the Seventh People’s Hospital of Zhengzhou from July 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were assigned to the observation group and the control group by the random number table
with 71 cases in each group. Routine care intervention was used during the examination in the control group
and refined care intervention was employed during the examination in the observation group. The care effect
discomfort during insertion and examination
cooperation degree
the first attempt success rate
and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The overall response rate of care in the observation group was 98.59%(70/71)
which was significantly higher than that in the control group(87.32%
62/71
χ~2=6.885
P=0.009). The discomfort scores during insertion and examination in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the passive cooperation rate and uncooperative rate between the two groups(P>0.05). The active cooperation rate and first attempt success rate of examination in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence rate of adverse reactions during the examination in the observation group was 5.63%(4/71)
which was significantly lower than that in the control group(16.90%
12/71
χ~2=4.508
P=0.034). Conclusion Refined care intervention is effective in patients undergoing digestive endoscopy
which helps to reduce the degree of examination discomfort
improve the degree of cooperation of patients and the first attempt success rate of examination
reduce the risk of adverse reactions and ensure the safety of examination.
