Application effect of w hole-course quality control-based transfusion testing process in transfusion therapy
Objective To explore the application effect of the whole-course quality control-based blood transfusion test process in blood transfusion therapy. Methods A total of 122 patients who received blood transfusions in the First People’s Hospital of Shangqiu from October 2019 to October 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were assigned to the observation group and the control group by the random number table
with 61 cases in each group. The routine blood transfusion test process was used for patients in the control group
and the whole-course quality control-based blood transfusion test process was implemented for patients in the observation group on the basis of the control group. The incidence of adverse events of blood transfusion
quality of blood transfusion
and satisfaction with diagnosis and treatment services were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of adverse events of blood transfusion in the observation group was 1.64%(1/61)
which was lower than that in the control group(11.48%
7/61)
but the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=3.344
P=0.067). The scores of 5 blood transfusion quality items in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P <0.05). The patient satisfaction rate in the observation group was 95.08%(58/61)
which was significantly higher than that in the control group(81.97%
50/61; χ2=5.164
P=0.023). Conclusion The application of the whole process quality control-based blood transfusion test process in blood transfusion therapy showed marked effects
which helps to reduce the risk of adverse events during blood transfusion therapy
increase the quality of blood transfusion and improve patient satisfaction.
