Value of anticardiolipin antibody and homocysteine in diagnosis and treatment of progressive cerebral infarction in young adults
Objective To investigate the value of anticardiolipin antibody(ACA) and homocysteine(Hcy) levels in the diagnosis and treatment of progressive cerebral infarction in young adults to provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods From March 2020 to March 2021
50 young patients with progressive cerebral infarction were selected as the study group
50 young patients with non-progressive cerebral infarction were selected as the control group 1
50 middleaged and elderly patients with progressive cerebral infarction were selected as the control group 2
and 50 healthy subjects were selected as the blank control group. The Hcy level before treatment was compared in the study group
control group 1
control group 2
and blank control group. The Hcy level in patients of different genders was compared. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score before treatment was compared in the study group
control group 2
and blank control group. The ACA-positive detection in the four groups was compared. The Hcy level
NIHSS score
and ACA positive detection in the study group before treatment and after treatment(7 days after treatment) were compared. The correlation between ACA and Hcy in the study group was analyzed. Results The Hcy level in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group 1
control group 2
and blank control group; the Hcy level in the control group 1 and control group 2 was significantly higher than that in the blank control group(P<0.05). The Hcy levels in males in the study group and the control group were significantly higher than those in females in the same group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in Hcy levels between males and females in the blank control group(P > 0.05). The NIHSS score of the study subjects in the study group was higher than that in the control group 1
control group 2
and blank control group
and the NIHSS score of the study subjects in the control group 1 and control group 2 was higher than that in the blank control group
with statistically significant differences(P <0.05). The positive detection rate of ACA in control group 1 and control group 2 was significantly lower than that in the study group(P<0.05). Serum ACA levels were positively correlated with Hcy levels in the study group(OR=2.135
95%CI :1.336~3.617
P<0.05).Conclusion ACA and Hcy levels are both risk factors for progressive cerebral infarction in young adults. Therefore
ACA combined with Hcy detection can be adopted to provide a reference for early diagnosis and treatment of progressive cerebral infarction in young adults.
