Effect of humanistic care in patients underwent laparoscopic surgery
Objective To explore the effect of humanistic care in patients underwent laparoscopic surgery
so as to provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery in the Longyan First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from August 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were randomly assigned to the observation group and control group
with 50 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine operating room care
and patients in the observation group humanistic care on the basis of the care in the control group. The operation time
spontaneous respiratory recovery time
and tracheal extubation time were compared between the two groups. The Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS) scores were compared between the two groups before intervention and at discharge. Satisfaction with care was compared between the 2 groups at discharge. Results The operation time
spontaneous respiratory recovery time
and tracheal extubation time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before the intervention
there was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups(P>0.05). At discharge
the SAS and SDS scores of patients in the 2 groups were significantly lower than those before the intervention
with the observation group lower than the control group(P<0.05). The overall satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Humanistic care plays an effective role in the care of patients underwent laparoscopic surgery
which can shorten the operation time
spontaneous respiratory recovery time
and tracheal extubation time
relieve anxiety and depression
and improve patient satisfaction. These benefits hold promise for a wider application of this technique in clinical practice.
