Effect of evidenc e-based nursing using mind mapping in perioperative nursing of laparoscopic nephrectomy
Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing using mind mapping in perioperative nursing of laparoscopic nephrectomy to provide a reference for clinical nursing. Methods Eighty patients with renal tumors admitted to the Fifth People’s Hospital of Liaoyang from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were assigned to the experimental group and control group by random number table
with 40 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received the perioperative routine nursing intervention
and patients in the experimental group received evidence-based nursing intervention using mind mapping in addition to the nursing intervention in the control group. The incidence of complications during hospitalization
infusion
postoperative first normal eating
first ambulation
length of hospital stay and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence rate of complications in the experimental group was 5.0%
which was significantly lower than that in the control group(22.5%)
and the difference was statistically(P<0.05). The infusion
feeding
out-of-bed activity
and length of hospital stay in the experimental group were significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05). The overall satisfaction rate of patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The use of evidence-based nursing using mind mapping in perioperative nursing of laparoscopic nephrectomy can shorten the time of infusion
feeding
out-of-bed activity
and length of hospital stay
reduce the occurrence of complications and improve patient satisfaction. These benefits justify a wider application of this technique.
