Efficacy analysis of different atropine administration methods in treating organophosphorus poisoning
Objective To investigate the effect of different atropine administration methods by micropump pumping and intermittent intravenous injection in the treatment of organophosphorus poisoning. Methods Eighty patients with organophosphorus poisoning admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to April 2020 were selected as the study subjects. They were assigned to the pumping group(atropine pumped using a micropump
n=40) and the intravenous bolus group(intermittent injection of atropine intravenously
n=40) according to different administration methods. The clinical efficacy
atropinization time
and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The ORR of the pumping group was 90.00%
which was significantly higher than that of the intravenous bolus group(70.00%)(P<0.05). The duration of atropinization in the pumping group was(128.01±66.35) min
which was shorter than that of the intravenous bolus group [(369.66±69.56) min](P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the pumping group was 20.00%
which was significantly lower than that of the intravenous bolus group(50.00%)(P<0.05). Conclusion Atropine micropump pumping is more effective than intermittent intravenous injection in the treatment of organophosphorus poisoning. It can shorten the atropinization time and reduce the incidence of complications.
