Hospital-community-family ternary linkage intervention in the care of children with epilepsy
Objective To explore the application value of hospital-community-family ternary linkage intervention in the care of children with epilepsy. Methods Ninety children with epilepsy admitted to Nanyang Central Hospital from April 2020 to March 2021 were randomly allocated to the observation group and control group
with 45 cases in each group. received routine care intervention
and patients in the observation group the ternary linkage intervention. The care effect
recovery
care ability
psychological status of the children’s families before and after the intervention
and Quality of Life in Childhood Epilepsy(QOLCE) scale score were compared between the two groups. Results The overall response rate(ORR) of the observation group was 95.56%(43/45)
which was significantly higher than that of the control group(80.00%
36/45)(χ~2=5.075
P=0.024). The seizure frequency after intervention in the 2 groups was lower than that before the intervention
with the observation group lower than the control group
the single duration shorter than that before the intervention
and the observation group shorter than the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The scores of epilepsy knowledge and emotion regulation of the family members in the two groups after intervention were higher than those before the intervention
and the observation group was higher than the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The SAS and SDS scores of the children in the 2 groups after intervention were lower than those before the intervention
and the observation group was lower than the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The scores of physical function and cognitive function in the QOLCE scale after the intervention in the 2 groups were higher than those before the intervention
and the observation group was higher than the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of the ternary linkage intervention in the care of children with epilepsy is beneficial to improve the care effect and the care ability of children’s families
promote the improvement of symptoms and increase the quality of life of children.
