Analysis of influencing factors and nursing intervention of negative mentality in pregnant women underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer
Objective To investigate the influencing factors and nursing intervention of negative mentality in pregnant women underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET). Methods A total of 230 pregnant women with successful IVF-ET assisted conception admitted to a hospital in Henan Province from January to December 2020 were selected as subjects. They were assigned to a negative mentality group(n=94) and a non-negative mentality group(n=136) based upon whether the pregnant women had combined negative mentality [anxiety and/or depression]. The general data of pregnant women in the 2 groups were collected
including age
place of residence
education level
history of miscarriage or abortion
years of infertility
husband’s attitude toward IVF-ET treatment
occupation
cost of treatment for infertility
and public pressure. Multi-factor logistic regression was adopted to analyze the risk factors for negative mentality among pregnant women with IVF-ET. Results A total of 94 subjects with negative mentalities were found among 230 subjects underwent IVF-ET
and the detection rate of negative mentalities was 40.87%. Among them
56 pregnant women showed anxiety
with a detection rate of 24.35% and a SAS score of(55.23±2.26); 38 pregnant women showed depression
with a detection rate of 16.52% and a SDS score of(57.51±1.29). The results of multi-factor logistic regression analysis showed that the husband’s attitude toward IVF-ET treatment was neutral
the cost of treating infertility over 30
000 yuan and public pressure were risk factors for negative mentalities in pregnant women underwent IVF-ET(P<0.05). Conclusion The husband’s neutral attitude toward IVF-ET treatment
the cost of infertility treatment over 30
000 RMB
and high public pressure were risk factors for negative mentalities among pregnant women underwent IVF-ET
and targeted nursing interventions for pregnant women underwent this procedure can be provided clinically to prevent the emergence of negative mentalities among them.
