Objective To explore the effect of refined care in operating room in the care of patients undergoing auricular reconstruction. Methods One hundred and thirty-six patients with auricular deformity treated with auricular reconstruction in a hospital in Henan Province from September 2019 to January 2021 were selected for the study. The random number table method was used to divide the patients into a study group（68 cases

receiving refined care in operation room） and a control group（68 cases

receiving conventional care in operation room）. The satisfaction of patients in the 2 groups with the operating room nursing staff and the occurrence of complications in the 2 groups at 1 month postoperatively were compared. Results The total satisfaction rate of patients in the study group with the operating room nursing staff was 97.06%

which was higher than that of 86.77% in the control group

and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. The postoperative complication rate of patients in the study group was 2.94%

which was lower than that of 14.70% in the control group

and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. Conclusion The effect of refined care in operating room is evident in the care of patients with auricular reconstruction. It reduces the incidence of postoperative complications and improves the satisfaction of patients with the operating room nursing staff

which makes it worthy of clinical promotion and application.
