Objective To explore the application value of seamless care model in coronary artery stent implantation（CASI）. Methods Seventy-two patients who underwent CASI in a hospital in Puyang from August 2019 to May 2021 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using the random number table method

with 36 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received the conventional surgical care model

while the seamless care model was implemented the observation group. The self-rating anxiety scale（SAS） and self-rating depression scale（SDS） scores

and the occurrence of nursing risk events were compared between the 2 groups before and after the intervention. Results The SAS and SDS scores of patients in the 2 groups at 3 d of intervention were lower than those before the intervention and lower in the observation group than in the control group

with statistically significant differences（P <0.05）. The preparation time before CASI

intervention time and hospitalization time were shorter in the observation group than in the control group

and the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. The incidence of nursing risk events in patients in the observation group was 5.56%（2/36）

which was lower than that of 27.78%（10/36） in the control group

and the difference was statistically significant（χ2=6.400

P=0.011）. Conclusion Seamless nursing model is effective in CASI. It can effectively improve the efficiency of nursing staff and patients’ recovery and reduce the incidence of negative emotions and risk events in patients. Therefore

it is worthy of clinical promotion.
