Analysis of the effect of continuous intervention based on structured education in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in a university
Objective To explore the effect of continuous intervention based on structured education on blood glucose control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods With the method of random sampling
72 patients with type 2 diabetes who were treated in the outpatient clinic of a university hospital in Nanjing from October to December 2019 were selected as the object. The patients were randomly divided into study group and control group
with 36 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine intervention
while patients in the study group received standardized intervention management based on patient-centered and structured education. The blood glucose control and compliance rate of the two groups were followed up and analyzed after 6 months. Results After 6 months of intervention
the levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG)
2 hours postprandial blood glucose(2 h PBG) and glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1 c) in the two groups were significantly lower than those before intervention
the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);and the levels of three blood glucose indexes in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group
the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The FBG success rate
2 h PBG success rate and FBG+2 h PBG+HbA1 c combined success rate in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention
the compliance rate of patients in the control group was 25.00%
and that in the study group was 86.11%
the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous intervention based on structured education plays a positive role in blood glucose control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
