Construction of ERAS knowledge, attitude and practice scale for colorectal cancer surgery patients
attitude and practice(KAP) scale for enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) targeting colorectal cancer(CRC) patients. Methods The KAP theory was used as a framework to determine the pool of questionnaire items of the scale by using literature review and in-depth interviews
and the Delphi method was used to determine the questionnaire indicators. Results "The ERAS KAP Scale for CRC Patients" consists of 3 level 1 items and 31 level 2 items
including 11 knowledge items
11 attitude items
and 9 practice items. The expert positivity coefficient was 100.00%
and the expert authority coefficient(Cr) was 0.847; the coefficient of variation of each dimension was 0.090-0.169
and the Kendall coordination coefficient was 0.120-0.246; the content validity indicator score of each item(I-CVI) was 0.95-0.98
and the content validity score of the total scale(S-CVI) was 0.97. Conclusion "The ERAS KAP Scale for CRC Patients" developed in this study has good reliability and validity and can be used as a survey tool to understand the current status of ERAS KAP among patients undergoing surgery for CRC.
