Abstract
After acute ischemic stroke
secondary neuroinflammation can not only promote the damage of brain tissues and lead to cell death
but also promote the rehabilitation of patients. Proinflammatory signals from immune mediators rapidly activate the resident microglia and affect a variety of inflammatory cells(neutrophils
mononuclear macrophages
different subtypes of T cells
and other inflammatory cells) to infiltrate into the ischemic area
causing an overreaction of immune inflammation and aggravating the brain tissue damage. However
there are also some related studies which demonstrate that some immune cells have a protective effect on brain tissues. This article reviews the changes in imune cells after ischemic stroke
and further discusses the immune-related targeted therapy
which is of great significance to the prognosis of patients.
