Objective: To investigate the expression of TAZ protein in cervical squamous cell carcinoma（CSCC）tissue cells. Methods: Immunohistochemistry

and Western blot were used to measure the expression of TAZ protein in normal cervical tissue and CSCC tissue and determine its subcellular localization

and the association between the expression of TAZ protein and the clinicopathological features of CSCC was analyzed. Results: There was a significant difference in the positive rate of TAZ between normal cervical tissue cells and CSCC tissue cells（100% vs 85.85%

P < 0.05）. There was a significant difference in the expression of TAZ between the groups with different degrees of tumor differentiation and between the group with lymph node metastasis and the group without lymph node metastasis（P < 0.05）. Conclusion: The expression of TAZ protein in CSCC is associated with the degree of tumor differentiation and the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis.
