This study mainly searched the literature in the SCI database library from 2010 to 2019. Using TS=（Kidney disease OR Nephropathy）AND（nursing OR care） as the search formula

656 articles were finally includ-ed. The bibliographic co-occurrence analysis system software Bicomb 2.0

bibliometric online analysis platform（https://bibliometric.com）

and VOSviewer 1.6.13 software were used to analyze the temporal and regional distribution

publication and citation status

author distribution

and topic clustering of the literature. The analy-sis of the results suggests that the overall number of published articles from 2010 to 2019 shows a fluctuating up-ward trend

with the lowest number of 42 published articles in 2010 and the highest number of 90 in 2018. The United States has the largest number of publications with 260 articles

accounting for 39.63% of all publications

while the number of publications in China is 48

accounting for 7.32%. The total numbers of journals

organiza-tions

and authors publishing literature are 241

and 3 179

respectively. There are 122 core authors in this field

accounting for 3.84% of all authors. The current research focuses on two areas: the impact of nursing staff’s provision of life care

psychological care

and basic care on the quality of patient care

as well as the nurs-ing measures taken by nursing staff for patients with nephrotic syndrome complicated by kidney injury and kidney cancer and the indicators commonly used to evaluate disease regression. In conclusion

the research on nephrotic syndrome care is becoming more and more comprehensive and mature. In the future

it is necessary to further in-crease the depth and breadth of research on nephrotic syndrome nursing in China to promote the development in this field and further improve the quality of life of patients.
