they were divided into a group with prostatitis-like symptoms(group A) and a group without such symptoms(group B). The lifestyles of the 2 groups of patients were compared and statistical analysis was performed. Results The differences in age
sexual frequency
sedentary lifestyle

cycling
history of unclean sexual intercourse
bathing frequency and frequency of holding urine were influential factors for prostatitis-like symptoms(all P<0.05)
with sex life(OR = 2.17)
spicy diet(OR= 2.37) and history of unclean sexual intercourse(OR= 2.67) having a greater impact on the prostatitis-like symptoms of the study subjects. Conclusion Prostatitis-like symptoms are associated with poor personal behaviors and dietary habits.
