Effect of total hip replacement with different approaches on Crowe Ⅰ and type Ⅱ developmental dysplasia of the hip
Objective To investigate the effect of total hip arthroplasty(THA)with different approaches on the treatment of Crowe Ⅰ and type Ⅱ developmental dysplasia of the hip(DDH).Methods From May 2017 to April 2018
86 Crowe Ⅰ and typeⅡ DDH patients who received THA treatment in a hospital in Heilongjiang Province were selected as the research object. They were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method
43 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group were treated with direct anterior approach(DAA)THA
and patients in the control group were treated with lateral approach THA.The perioperative indicators
hip function and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had longer operation time than the control group
the intraoperative blood loss was less than the control group
and the hospital stay was shorter than control group
the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Harris score between the two groups before and after operation(P>0.05);the Harris score after operation in both groups was higher than before operation
and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.98%
which was lower than 11.63%in the control group
but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Crowe Ⅰ and type Ⅱ DDH patients receiving DAA THA treatment are more conducive to promoting hip function recovery than lateral approach THA
with less intraoperative bleeding
shorter hospital stay
and higher safety.
