Effects of predictive nursing on quality of life and cardiac function in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy
Objective To investigate the effect of predictive nursing on quality of life and cardiac function in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy. Methods In this study
66 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy admitted to a hospital in Zhengzhou from February 2018 to March 2019 were selected as subjects. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method
with 33 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing
and patients in the observation group received predictive nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The heart rate(HR)
b-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)of the 2 groups were compared before and after nursing care. The quality of life of the two groups was compared at the 3-month followup. Results At discharge
LVEF in the observation group was(58.9±16.2)%
higher than that in the control group(52.3±6.4)%
and LVEF level in both groups was higher than that before nursing
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).At discharge
the BNP and HR levels in the observation group were(121.4±18.4)pg/mL and(71.4±4.1)times/min
respectively
lower than those in the control group(143.1±11.7)pg/mL and(76.4±12.3)times/min
and the BNP and HR levels in the two groups were lower than those before nursing
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).At the 3-month follow-up
the physiological health
psychological status
social relationship
personal belief score and total score in whoqol-bref in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy can improve HR
LVEF
BNP and other indicators of cardiac function
and improve the quality of life of patients
which is worthy of clinical application.
