Application of hospital-community-family extended care service in children with cough variant asthma
Objective To analyze the application effect of hospital-community-family extended care service in children with cough variant asthma(CVA).Methods Ninety patients with CVA admitted to a hospital in Henan from January 2018 to November 2018 were enrolled. The patients were divided into the control group and the study group according to the admission time
with 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention
and the study group gave hospital-community-family extended care services on the basis of the control group.Compare the incidence of illness
medical expenses
length of hospital stay
number of hospitalizations
days of parental leave
and pre-intervention
post-intervention 1 year post-children′s Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire(PAQLQ)score
and lung function indicators before and after treatment[1 st forced expiratory volume(FEV1)
forced vital capacity(FVC)].Results Compared with the control group
the number of cases
medical expenses
and hospitalizations were lower in the study group
and the length of hospital stay and family members were shorter(P<0.05).Before the intervention
FEV1 and FVC of the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05);after one year of intervention
FEV1 and FVC of the study group were higher than that of the control group
with significant difference(P<0.05).Before the intervention
there was no significant difference in the scores of emotional dimension
activity dimension and symptom dimension in PAQLQ between the two groups(P>0.05);one year after the intervention
the scores of emotional dimension
activity dimension and symptom dimension in the two groups were higher than that before the intervention
and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Hospital-community-family extended care services are used in children with CVA to control asthma attacks
reduce family burden
improve lung function
and improve the quality of life of children.
