Objective To investigate the party members’psychological health of one community in Dazhou so as to provide reference for the guidance work of the experimental community’s mental health for Sichuan university of arts and sciences.Method The symptom check list（SCL-90）was used in the test for 103 party members at the same time.Results Compared with those in domestic population

except the two factors of interpersonal relationship and crankiness

the differences of scores for other factors were statistically significant（P<0.05）.Factors of female party members got higher scores than male party members.The differences in scores for compulsion

depression

anxiety and psychosis were statistically significant（P<0.05）.There were no significant differences between middle or young party members and old party members in the scores for factors but there was a significant difference in their scores for interpersonal relationship（P<0.05）.Conclusion The party members of the community Caojialiang have some psychological problems.We need to establish the system and mechanism of mental health service immediately

and to do some suitable psychological health work for the people in the community Caojialiang.
