Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect and adverse reaction of low-temperature plasma ablation on treatment of allergic rhinitis with nasal polyp.Method 116 cases of patients suffering from allergic rhinitis with nasal polyp were chosen

of which 58 cases were in phase Ⅰ of allergic rhinitis with nasal polyp while another 58 cases were in phase Ⅱ or Ⅲ of allergic rhinitis with nasal polyp

and the two groups were treated with low-temperature plasma ablation under nasal endoscope.Results Total effective rate of the group in phase Ⅰ was 96.6% and the curative rate was 13.8%;total effective rate of the group in phase Ⅱ or phase Ⅲ was 77.6% and the curative rate was 1.7%.Differences in total effective rate between the two groups were statistically significant（χ2=9.26

p<0.01）

and differences in the curative rate were statistically significant（χ2=4.34

p<0.05） as well.Conclusion Low-temperature plasma ablation under nasal endoscope can improve and recover nasal airflow

sinus ventilation and guarantee the sinus drainage

but it has difficulty correcting patients with abnormal anatomical structures and has poor effects on patients suffering from allergic rhinitis with severe nasal polyp.
