Objective To study the therapeutic effects of pinaverium bromide combined with oryzanol in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome（IBS）.Method 46 patients with IBS were randomly divided into two groups

one is the control group and the other is the treatment group with each group 23 people.The patients in the control group were treated with pinaveriunm bromide 50 mg three times a day

and those in the treatment group were given oryzanol 30 mg three times a day besides above treatment.The period of treated was 1 month.The clinical efficacy

symptoms and signs were observed before and after the treatment.Results The total effective rate was 95.6% in the control group and 78.3% in the treatment group

there was significantly difference between the two groups（P<0.05）.Conclusion The pinaverium bromide combined with oryzanol can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with IBS and increase the therapeutic effects.
