Objective To explore the clinical application of improved cesarean section.Methods 204 cases of pregnant women with indications for cesarean section were compared hy means of two kinds of surgical methods（Modified cesarean section group of 84 cases

abdominal longitudinal uterine lower segment cesarean section group of 120 cases）.The operation time

blood loss and postoperative time of discharge were observed.Results Time from skin incision to delivery of baby in obsevation group（6.4±0.5）min

while control group was（10.2±1.7）min;the total operation time was（30.3±5.7）min vs（45.2±7.2）min;the amount of postoperative bleeding was（150.0±50.5）mL vs（250.0±80.5）mL;postoperative analgesic usage rate was 53.6% vs 75.0%;postoperative discharge time was（20.1±5.9）h vs（42.5±9.0）h.Differences between the two groups were statistically significant（P<0.01）.Conclusion Tearing method modified abdominal cesarean section has good prospects in application

and deserves further promotion.
