Objective To find out the subjective happiness of the retirees of Chongqing’s municipal authorities and its influence factor.Method 203 retired workers from 10 municipal government offices are tested by MUNSH Scale and the data are analyzed statistically.Results There are 82.43% of the happiness of retirees degrees to score from 31 to 84

the total degree of subjective happiness are（36.89±7.76）;different income retirees

the degree of happiness scores difference is of statistically significant（F= 2.774

p<0.05）;different age

sex

pre-retirement position

educational level

chronic diseases

the spouse is alive or not

and so on.These differences are not of statistically significant.Conclusions The happiness of retirees of Chongqing’s municipal authorities is in good condition

in the middle and upper levels.Retirees’ age

sex

educational level have nothing to do with the degree of happiness

while the income affects the degree of happiness to a certain extent.Conscious sense is the key factor to affect the subjective happiness.
