摘要

Abstract

Objective

To explore the status of depressive symptoms in Army Special Forces of Chinese PLA and investigate the influencing mechanism.

Methods

Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire (RSQ)

Type D Personality Scale (DPS)

and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) were employed to survey 593 special soldiers were recruited and measured with.

Results

① The participates had highest score of peers' rejection sensitivity (8.25±3.26)

followed by moderate score of intimates' rejection sensitivity (7.50±3.71) and lower score of teachers' rejection sensitivity was lowest (7.07±3.06)

with statistical significance [

. ② The prevalence rates of mild depression

moderate depression and major depression were 31%

respectively. ③Rejection sensitivity was positively correlation with social inhibition (

=0.17

0.01) and depressive symptoms (

=0.17

and social inhibition was positively correlated with depressive symptoms (

=0.33

0.01).④The results of structural equation model indicated that social inhibition partially mediated the relationships between rejection sensitivity and depressive symptoms

with value of mediating effect of 31.21%.

Conclusion

When compared with Chinese military norm

the Army Special Forces have significantly higher morbidity of mild depression

lower rate of major depression

but no such difference in that of moderate depression. Social inhibition plays mediating role between rejection sensitivity and depressive emotion.
