Objective       To investigate the characteristics and influencing factors of self-consistency and congruence and subjective well-being (SWB) in navy recruits of an ocean escort force.       Methods       Group testing of 232 navy officers and soldiers was carried out using self consistency and congruence scale (SCCS) and non-verbal face scale. student’s t-test

analysis of variance

regression analysis and correlation analysis were used in statistics.       Results     

  ① The total score of self-consistency and the scores of self and experience inconsistency and self-stiffness in the escort force were significantly less than those in the norm of Chinese PLA (

25 years old) was significantly better than that of the escort force group (age≥25 years old) (

0.01). ③ The SWB of the navy recruits with high SCCS scores was significantly better than that of those with middle and low SCCS scores (

0.01).       Conclusion       The SCCS of escort force is overall superior to that of military norm

and the SWB is the same with that of general navy. SCCS and SWB are different in navy recruits with different age

education and marriage. The force should be required to promote continuing education in army and improve the psychological support system.
