Objective      To analyze the clinical efficacy of terbinafine combined with semiconductor laser for onychomycosis.       Methods      A total of 102 outpatients with onychomycosis in our department from March 2011 to March 2015 were divided into a combination group and a control group. The control group was treated with terbinafine hydrochloride tablets

for 6 weeks. The combination group was added with semiconductor laser irradiation treatment

twice a week for 6 weeks. The clinical efficacy was compared between the 2 groups.       Results      After treatment

the growth length of fingernail and toenail in the combination group was significantly improved (P0.05)

paronychia score and scoring of clinical index for onychomycosis (SCIO) had statistically significant differences compared with the control group (P0.05). The total efficiency and clearance rate of the combined group after treatment was higher (100.00% vs 90.19%

P0.05).       Conclusion       Terbinafine combined with semiconductor laser has good clinical efficacy for onychomycosis.
