Objective        To evaluate the superiority and short-term efficacy of one-stop hybrid operation in treatment of giant tumors in orthopedics.       Methods        Six patients including two of fibroma and four of chondrosarcoma treated with one-stop hybrid operation in the Department of Joints Limbs Surgery

2012 were enrolled. There were 4 male patients and 2 female patients aged from 24 to 63 years old. The perioperative amount of bleeding

complications and tumor recurrence of stage Ⅰ resection of giant tumors with one-stop hybrid operation were analyzed.       Results        The giant tumor resection with one-stop hybrid operation was complete. The average follow-up period was 6 months (9-28 months)

and no recurrence was observed. The average amount of bleeding was 422 mL

and the average operation time was 192 min.       Conclusion        Using one-stop hybrid operation to carry out stage Ⅰ resection of giant tumors is safe

effective and worthy of promotion.
