Objective To assess the clinical value of time-density curve of target-slice dynamic enhanced multi-slice CT of lung solitary degeneration. Methods The trend and peak height of time-density curves of 57 cases of lung solitary degeneration were studied after performing target-slice dynamic scan by GE Light-Speed ultra 16 CT scanner. Results peak height(PH) and M/A of malignant and inflammatory cases [(26.00±5.87)Hu,(10.00±2.87)% and (32.25±11.00)Hu,(12.68±3.36)%
respectively] were significantly higher than those of benign ones [(10.29±6.10)Hu and (3.75±2.22)%] (P0.01). Fitting time-density curves (fTDC)of most malignant cases rose quickly at the beginning
then dropped slightly or showed no drop. Inflammatory cases presented fast-up-fast-down or fast-up-slow-down curve profiles with a rather high summit. However
most of the fTDCs of benign cases leveled off. Conclusion Time-density curve of target-slice dynamic enhanced CT is helpful in the diagnosis and discrimination of lung degeneratior.
