and positive rate of bronchial provocation tests. Methods A total of 249 patients with chronic cough
choking sensation in chest
and gasp underwent bronchial provocation tests and were divided into four groups: Group A (FEF
75%
%Pred40%)
Group B(40%≤FEF
75%
%Pred60%)
Group C(60%≤FEF
75%
%Pred80%)
and Group D(FEF
75%
%Pred≥80%). The relationship between FEF
75%
and positive rate of bronchial provocation tests was analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in bronchial provocation tests between Group A and
Group B (P0.05) but significant difference between Groups A
B and Groups C
D. The difference between Group C and Group D was also significant (P0.05). The positive doses in Group A were significantly different from those in other groups. Conclusion The positive rate of bronchial provocation tests may be related with the reduced FEF
