Application and prospect of large language model in the education of public health and preventive medicine in colleges and universities
Abstract
This paper discusses the application of large language model (LLM) in the education of public health and preventive medicine in colleges and universities and its future development direction. Leveraging its powerful language processing ability
the LLM has shown significant advantages in teaching resource generation and knowledge updating
real-time learning evaluation
intelligent question-answering
teaching efficiency improvement
multi-modal practical teaching innovation
and the construction of core competence training system for public health talents. However
in the process of its application
it also faces challenges such as the complexity of data sources
the timeliness of public health events
the consideration of social impact
and ethics and fairness. This paper analyzes these challenges and looks forward to the future development direction of LLM in medical education
aiming at promoting the intelligent reform of personnel training in public health and preventive medicine in colleges and universities.
