Construction of a teacher evaluation system for clinical interns in medicine-education collaboration based on the Delphi method
To construct a scientific and standardized evaluation index system for teachers in a clinical teaching base for interns
promote teaching through evaluation
and enhance the quality of medical education.
Methods
2
Based on the Canada Medical Education Direction System (CanMEDS) framework of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Delphi method
the draft of the evaluation system was formed through literature analysis and expert interviews. Seventeen medical education and management experts were invited to conduct two rounds of consultation. The indicators were selected using the boundary value method
and the reliability of expert consensus was evaluated through the authority coefficient and Kendall's concordance coefficient.
Results
2
The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of consultation questionnaires was 100.00%
the expert authority coefficient ranged from 0.827 to 0.855
the coefficient of variation ranged from 0.06 to 0.20
and Kendall's concordance coefficient was 0.204 (
P
<
0.001). The final evaluation system consisted of 3 first-level indicators
12 second-level indicators
and 39 third-level indicators. The indicators were clearly mapped to the seven core roles of CanMEDS
highlighting an evaluation orien
tation that balances competency
ethics
and innovation.
Conclusions
2
This study innovatively integrates the CanMEDS framework with the Delphi method to construct an evaluation system for teachers in a clinical teaching base for interns. The evaluation system is both scientific and operational
providing an evidence-based reference for the evaluation of teachers for interns under the medicine-education collaboration model.
