Development and application effectiveness of a clinical-pathological case discussion model for resident physicians
To evaluate the preliminary application effect of the clinical pathological joint case discussion mode for resident physicians.
Method
2
A clinical pathology joint case discussion study was conducted for 60 pathologists and 46 clinical department physicians in our hospital. The effectiveness of this model was tested through knowledge level tests
satisfaction surveys
and semi-structured interviews. Perform repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS 26.0.
Result
2
The post test scores of the participating physicians were higher than those of the pre-test. Among them
the clinical knowledge module [Pathologist: (24.77±2.83) vs. (18.52±3.24)
]
; Clinical physician: (27.46±2.13) vs. (22.13±3.75)
with a significant time main effect (
F
=350.25
P
<
0.001). Pathology knowledge module [Pathologist: (36.75±2.49) vs. (28.64±4.05); Clinical physician: (32.81±3.63) vs. (20.33±5.24)
with a significant time main effect (
F
=480.63
P
<
0.001). Integrated application module [Pathologist: (25.37±3.24) vs. (15.84±5.47)
]
; Clinical physician: (26.98±2.45) vs. (16.20±5.85)
with a significant time main effect (
F
=420.18
P
<
0.001). The satisfaction survey shows that the overall satisfaction of the students is high
and they believe that the promotion value is high. Qualitative research has shown that the clinical pathological joint case discussion mode has a positive impact on deepening the multidimensional understanding of the nature of diseases
stimulating interest in independent exploration and interdisciplinary learning
and promoting the initial construction of integrated clinical thinking patterns.
Conclusions
2
The constructed clinical pathological joint case discussion mode
through multidisciplinary cooperation
can enhance the ability of resident physicians to integrate clinical pathology
