Comparative study and reflections on the body logistics courses in Chinese and British universities: a case study of the body logistics course at University of Leicester in the United Kingdom
Taking the body logistics (BL) course at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom as a reference
this paper made a systematic comparison of the BL courses for clinical undergraduates in China and the United Kingdom. The results showed significant differences in the objectives
structures
content settings
organizational forms
teaching methods
and assessment methods of the BL courses at Chongqing Medical University and University of Leicester. Based on an in-depth analysis and comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the BL courses at both universities
and considering the current development situation of BL teaching at Chongqing Medical University
several reform suggestions were proposed. These include further optimizing the structure
organizational form
teaching method
and assessment method of the BL course at Chongqing Medical University. Additionally
the course content on the online teaching platform should be continuously and dynamically updated.
