Comparison and optimization of the design of very early clinical experience course in Sino-foreign cooperative education
The characteristics of British medical education were discussed in detail
focusing on the aspects of enrollment
clinical training mode
professional quality training form
and clinical teacher allocation. On this basis
the very early clinical experience courses of University of Leicester and Chongqing Medical University were further analyzed and compared. The results showed that based on the characteristics of British medical education
University of Leicester employed different course objectives
course contents
and performance evaluation methods compared with Chongqing Medical University. The University of Leicester placed greater emphasis on the early training of comprehensive clinical practice ability
while the Chongqing Medical University focused on clinical experience and interest stimulation. The teaching forms of the two universities were similar. Based on the above results
Chongqing Medical University can learn from the advantages of curricula in the University of Leicester and integrate the characteristics of curricula in Sino-foreign cooperative education to optimize the design of this course. This includes enhancing professional quality training through ideological and political integration
strengthening the early cultivation of comprehensive clinical ability by enriching teaching forms
jointly building online teaching platforms
expanding practice bases and case databases
and enriching assessment methods
and further optimizing the allocation of teachers to improve teaching quality.
