Practice of upgrading the "chain-style" management system based on the key elements of process assessment quality of resident training
Process assessment is an important part of standardized resident training
and paying attention to the key elements of process assessment is conducive to improving the quality of training. Based on total quality management theory and the requirements of the Standards for Standardized Resident Training Bases (2022 Edition)
The Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University made improvements and upgrades on the basis of the original "chain" management system. These included refining the management at the entry of a clinical department
improving the timely examination rate of key elements when leaving the clinical department
strengthening the attention paid to the results of the examination of key elements when leaving the clinical department
implementing the guidance of supervising physicians on the handwritten medical records of residents
and interconnecting the "chain" management system with the actual clinical cases. The upgraded management system had a high level of satisfaction
and the timely examination rate for resident assessment and the quality of resident training were improved
which reflects improvements in the level of information management of the whole process and the management ability of information and data.
