摘要

Abstract

Objective

To compare the perioperative outcomes of patients receiving single-site and multi-site laparoscopic radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer.

Methods

Sixty-four patients with cervical cancer undergoing laparoscopic radical hysterectomy by the same surgical team in our department between August

2016 and June

2017 were enrolled in this study.According to the preference of the patients and clinical evaluations

the patients were divided into single-site group and multi-site group.After the surgeries

all the patients were provided with holistic nursing care with defined care responsibility to promote rapid rehabilitation.

Results

The surgeries were completed successfully in all the patients.Compared with the multi-site laparoscopic surgery

single-site laparoscopic radical hysterectomy was associated with a prolonged operation time

but the volume of intraoperative blood loss was similar between the 2 groups (

0.05).The catheter indwelling time and postoperative bowel recovery time after the surgery did not differ significantly between the 2 groups (

0.05).The patients receiving single-site surgery showed significantly better perioperative outcomes than those receiving multi-site su

rgery in terms of the length of hospital stay

time to ambulation

postoperative pain score and patients' satisfaction on abdominal wound (

0.05).

Conclusion

Compared with the conventional laparoscopic surgery

single-site laparoscopic radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer better promotes postoperative recovery of the patients with shortened catheter indwelling time

reduced discomforts

fewer complications

and shortened hospitalization time.
