Application and research progress of artificial intelligence in preoperative intestinal preparation for colorectal cancer
Colorectal cancer is a globally prevalent malignancy of the gastrointestinal tract, and surgery is the main treatment method for it.The quality of preoperative intestinal preparation significantly determines the visualization degree of the surgery, the incidence of intraoperative complications and the postoperative rehabilitation effect. However, the traditional preoperative intestinal preparation methods have shortcomings such as unstable cleaning effects and poor patient compliance. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the potential of AI in medical image analysis, predictive model construction, and the formulation of individualized treatment plans is gradually emerging.Based on current literature, this article systematically explores the specific application scenarios and the latest research progress of AI in preoperative intestinal preparation for colorectal cancer, including AI-assisted intestinal cleanliness assessment, individualized medication guidance and remote monitoring, and further looks forward to the future development trends and challenges in this field.By analyzing and integrating the relevant research results,it is expected to provide reference and ideas for improving the perioperative management level of colorectal cancer and the prognosis of patients.
