Risk factors for regional lymph node micrometastases in patients with early-stage NSCLC and their influence on long-term prognosis
To investigate the risk factors for regional lymph node micrometastases in patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC),and their influence on prognosis.
Methods
2
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 120 patients with early-stage NSCLC who received surgical resection at our hospital from March 2021 to March 2024. According to the postoperative examination results of regional lymph node micrometastases, the patients were divided into the lymph node metastasis group (
n
=43) and the lymph node non-metastasis group (
n
=77). The influencing factors for regional lymph node micrometastases in patients with early-stage NSCLC were identified by univariate analysis and multivariate
Logistic
regression analysis. The relationship between regional lymph node micrometastases and the prognosis was analyzed by
Kaplan
-
Meier
survival analysis.
Results
2
Multivariate
Logistic
regression analysis showed that tumor location (central type), tumor size (≥2 cm), and T stage (T2 stage) were independent risk factors for regional lymph node micrometastases in patients with early-stage NSCLC (
P
0.05). The
Kaplan
-
Meier
survival analysis showed that the cumulative overall survival rate and cumulative disease-free survival rate of patients in the lymph node metastasis group were lower than those in the lymph node non-metastasis group (
P
0.05).
Conclusion
2
The tumor location (central type), tumor size (≥2 cm), and T stage (T2 stage) are independent risk factors for regional lymph node micrometastases in patients with early-stage NSCLC. Regional lymph node micrometastases affect the prognosis of patients with early-stage NSCLC, and can serve as an objective indicator for clinically screening high-risk populations with poor prognosis.
