Analysis of risk factors for preterm birth in 466 pregnant women
To explore the causes of preterm birth in pregnant women with gestational age more than 28 weeks due to non-accidental factors, and analyze the risk factors.
Methods
2
A total of 5 167 pregnant women who underwent regular prenatal check-ups and delivered in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 were selected and divided into the preterm birth group (466 cases) and the full-term group (4 701 cases) according to whether they were preterm. The basic information of pregnant women was collected through questionnaire surveys, and Logistic multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of preterm birth.
Results
2
The proportions of advanced maternal age, history of abortion, gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM),hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy (HDCP),gestational anemia, pregnancy complicated with obesity, vaginitis during pregnancy, premature rupture of membranes, and placenta previa in the preterm birth group were significantly higher than those in the full-term group, with statistically significant differences (
P
<
0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that advanced maternal age, HDCP, anemia during pregnancy, pregnancy complicated with obesity, premature rupture of membranes, and placenta previa were the risk factors for preterm birth in pregnant women (
P
<
0.05).
Conclusion
2
Preterm birth in pregnant women is associated with multiple factors, among which advanced maternal age,HDCP,anemia during pregnancy, pregnancy complicated with obesity, premature rupture of membranes, and placenta previa are risk factors. Clinically, the condition of pregnant women should be closely monitored, risk factors should be promptly eliminated, and emergencies should be handled.
