【】 Objective: To explore the teaching effect of 3D printing technique in clinical practice of spine surgery. Methods: Thirty-eight medical students of eight-year program who were enrolled in spine surgery were randomly divided into experimental group (n = 19) and control group (n = 19)
odontoid fractures for example
The experimental group teach by the traditional practice method
the experimental group in the teaching process combined with 3D printing technology
the production of three-dimensional spine and the surrounding tissue model
intuitive teaching demonstration and description. After the end of the internship
the evaluation test and the simulation procedure were carried out. The test time is after the end of the teaching and a mouth later. Results: The scores of the two examinations were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion: The combination of 3D printing technique and surrounding tissue model can help doctors to deepen their understanding and surgical methods for spine - related diseases. Therefore
3D printing technology in the clinical practice of spinal surgery has a good application prospects.
