Objective　To carry out graduates information collection work based on the social network platform in order to accomplish the collection task with low cost and high efficiency. Methods　The H5 page editing software was used to make information collection pages

and the social networks such as WeChat and QQ were used to publish the pages and collect the data. Results　There were 693 pieces of target data. Totally 739 pieces of data were collected through the platform

including 627 pieces of effective data. In addition

data collection which was carried out through two other ways by telephone and mail (658 pieces) accounted for 95% of the total target data

basically realizing the collection target. Conclusion　The proper use of social network platform can help to notify the target user group and complete the information collection work in a short time.
